Right on the doorstep of Manchester, MediaCityUK is at the heart of the north west of England.
Road and Parking
We are two minutes from the Greater Manchester motorway network and have a new link road direct to the M602. We also have 2,300 parking spaces in our new multi-storey car park that is accessed via Broadway (see map).
Tram and Train
The new tram terminus is at the heart of MediaCityUK and it takes 15 minutes to get to Manchester Piccadilly or ten minutes to Eccles Station. In addition the Broadway tram stop is adjacent to The Pie Factory.
Buses
The QuaysLink
The No 9 takes passengers from MediaCityUK to Salford Crescent Station. The service operates every 15minutes and goes via Salford Shopping City. You can find out more here.
X50
The X50 runs from Manchester City Centre to the Trafford Centre, via the Quays. It operates up to every 15minutes.
Cycle
MediaCityUK is easy to reach by bike and there are over 300 cycle bays dotted across our site.
Airport
Manchester Airport is a 20-minute drive away and offers the choice of more than 200 destinations worldwide. Additional overseas connections are available at nearby Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Helicopter
If you’re looking to get to MediaCityUK in style then we recommend Cardinal – an executive helicopter charter service operated from City Airport Manchester.
Boat
A variety of boat services and cruises are available seasonally, including a cruise from The Quays down the Manchester Ship Canal to Liverpool. Contact Salford Tourist Information Centre for details
